Resource Group Industries Reaches Out-of-Court Settlement With IBM in Antitrust Suit

Tulsa, OK- December 12, 1980 -  Resource Group Industries, Inc. (RGI), a reseller of IBM General Systems Division (GSD) computers, today announced that it had reached a settlement agreement with IBM General Systems Division eliminating the prospect of filing an antitrust lawsuit against the computer maker.  Earlier this year, RGI retained the law firm of Pray Walker, to file the action.

As part of the Agreement, RGI released any claim on its substantial number of computers on order, and further agreeing to abandon the business of reselling IBM computers.  Terms of the settlement agreement are subject to a non-disclosure agreement and therefore not disclosed.

RGI is an operating unit of InAmerica Consulting, which is an Oklahoma-based turnaround consultancy.
