InAmerica Announces Exploratory Team

to Complete Bottled Water Manufacturing Facility

SAN DIEGO - June 1, 2012 - InAmerica, Inc., announced today that it had set up an exploratory team to evaluate the acquisition of a partially constructed bottled water manufacturing facility in Reading Pennsylvania.  Construction of the facility was shut down in late 2007, with about 30% of the structure completed.  The original plan involved becoming the low cost producer for private label bottled water in the northeast corridor that is home to more than 100 major distribution centers serving the 100+ million consumers in the 20 state northeast market.

C. Gus Cristo, President of InAmerica said, “We were originally skeptical of a project that had already failed twice.  But when we looked at the numbers and the market, it became clear that the potential opportunity was worthy of fresh eyes for another look.  If we can overcome a few obstacles that plagued the earlier efforts, the fully-automated facility would produce bottled water at a 20% lower cost than all current existing plants.”  Cristo added, “Incidentally, the private label bottled water segment is the fastest growing segment in the entire bottled water industry- A segment which happens to be price-dependent.”

Having met with the original contractors of the project, InAmerica intends to utilize most, if not all of the original vendors, once the municipal issues are resolved and the funding is in place.

InAmerica is a diversified holding company that specializes in developing leading edge innovative technologies and the acquisition, reorganization and turnaround of distressed businesses that retain dramatic potential once a recovery is completed.  The company typically seeks to divest itself of the revived businesses through spin-off or outright sale to a company with a strategic need and fit.
