InAmerica Receives Offer From American Express To Acquire Videotex Product

Tulsa, OK - Mar 1, 1984 -  InAmerica Consulting announced today that it had received an offer from American Express to acquire 90% of InAmerica’s videotex product named, ‘Dax.’ C. Gus Cristo, InAmerica’s CEO said the offer came from Colin Reeve, American Express’s Director of Videotex Services.

Cristo added that Reeve asked that he assemble a comprehensive business plan that would include all aspects of the product offering, and intellectual rights claimed, and a price tag for a minimum of 90% of the product rights.  Cristo indicated that Reeve promised he would get an up or down vote from the American Express Board at their next regularly scheduled meeting.

InAmerica considers American Express as a preferred developer of the product in that its home-banking function is groundbreaking and when tied to a major financial services company becomes a formidable offering.

InAmerica Consulting, is a turnaround consultancy division of Exomesa Corporation.
