Atlas Tower Opens Flood Gates by Offering Total Lease Financing for Broadcast Towers

Tulsa, OK- March 22, 1982 -  Atlas Tower Corporation, while hosting its booth at the annual National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention in Washington DC, announced its program to offer total broadcast station leasing to the broadcast industry.  At the show, Atlas management negotiated a master lease with Something Better Educational Foundation, Inc. for a complete FM radio broadcast station, including the land, building, tower and equipment to a religious broadcast group.  While there was no official announcement at the show, Atlas Tower’s booth became one of the busiest places at the convention.

C. Gus Cristo, CEO of Atlas commented, “Traditionally, no lessor will include the tower as part of the lease package.  As an erector of our towers, we have no problem leasing a tower.  It’s much easier to take it down than to put it up.”

Atlas Tower is an operating unit of InAmerica Consulting, which is an Oklahoma-based turnaround consultancy.
