Resource Group Industries To Enter IBM Reseller Market


New York, NY- September 21, 1978-  Resource Group Industries, Inc. (RGI), a turnaround consulting firm, today announced that it had entered the mini-computer reseller and brokerage market.  Specifically, the company will concentrate solely on IBM General Systems Division System/34 computers.


The company based its decision to enter the business, by virtue of the System/34’s popularity in small to mid-sized businesses.  IBM System/34 computers were first announced in April of this year and expect to begin shipping in December.


RGI is an operating unit of InAmerica Consulting, which is an Oklahoma-based turnaround consultancy.  The company changed its name from Vindicator Corporation to better reflect the new business.  Due to the large number of New York- based companies with computer systems on order, the company has chosen to headquarter in New York City.
